So I did these illustrations a while back for a client for their t-shirts. I recently decided to use them in my portfolio and I have also created an accompanying tag to go with them. So here they are, please forgive me for slacking on posts :).
So here is a first shot at my personal business cards...as you may or may not know I am set to graduate in December and am currently working on my portfolio show set up. It was very much a difficult task for me even to arrive at this solution for my cards...there were MANY variations that I scrapped before this one which I think i like, what do you think?
Behold. triangles 4 and 5, completing the first half of this creative exploration. As for the second half, I'm leaning towards a different approach to those, get a little more of a variety going. As for now, enjoy!
So me and my friend/co-worker Stephanie decided it would be a fun idea to do 10 mastheads in 10 days based around the word triangle. Just a fun exercise in design and creativity, so this is the first of ten!
Feel free to go to Stephanie's Blog and check out her posts too. You MAY even feel like leaving her a comment? Or me a comment? They are always wellcome :D.
Some pictures I took at a recent visit to the Mission San Juan. With a little color treatment that I've been experimenting with as of late. Feel free to enjoy, you are aloud, this I promise you...
In honor of my recent visit to an exhibit of Audrey Kawasaki, I decided to do a change in style and put a little twist of Audrey's girls into this piece. This is a sad yet sweet image, much like many of Audrey's, of a young girl on her wedding day. Read into it all you must, I had a lot of fun doing it and it was refreshing to try something a little different. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something...that is now an illustration friday post, enjoy!
